Lots of photos and minimal text
It's what you all want, really, isn't it :) I have to be awake in 5 hours and I'm pretty tired so I'm going to try and minimise the time I spend writing this post. I should just go to bed, but I promised I'd update so I will :) Plus if I don't do it now it'll be another 10 days till I post, and that'd be way too long (hint hint... brad and helen....write a post).
Okay so now for photos, no story, just a short descriptor for each I think :)
On the first day we stopped by the local runway... the terminal seemed a little run down :)
We did a lot of bush bashing, and this was the first stake in the tires we noticed...luckily they're full of silicone so they don't go flat :)
A nice "artsy" shot :)
Where did you eat lunch today? Bet you didn't have this view :D Amusingly this was the only place I got mobile (cell for the yanks) phone reception...I took the opportunity to msg my best mate who's in the UK.
I like this shot, it's the road from the adjacent hill up to the hill I had lunch at.
There aren't roads where I've been mapping.... would you believe the terrain can get a lot worse?
I came up with a name for the new company we'll be forming/working under, and we celebrated with a bottle of red, and another, and another.... got some good photos during the first bottle... i'm pretty proud of the wine glass shot :)
it was a good sunset that night, but this photo of it could be better if I had a better zoom (this used digital zoom).
After 3 bottles of wine between two of us my dinner looked pretty tasty, or not, one way or the other I took a photo of it, looks bad I know, but I think it was tasty :)
Bottle number 4.... there's an interesting story about bottle number 4... maybe I'll tell you sometime :)
And I'll leave you with a photo I can't quite explain, no wait, I can explain it, I understand now, it has to do with bottle number 4 and the fact that isn't the shirt I was wearing when we started drinking it...it's all my boss's fault :D
So there you have it folks, hope you enjoyed the photos, I'll post more photos and text when I get back in another 10 days time or so. Right no I must go to bed, I have to be up in 4 hours (blogger was being a bastard and not uploading photos properly so it still took me 50 minutes to write this...hope you appreciate it) :(

the shot of the wine glass is nice. i'm impressed, especially since that was after.. 3 shared bottles? hehe.

That wine glass looked sort of like it was floating. I love your camera eye.
Uh. That last pic of you...
Is it okay that I laughed when I saw it? I swear I make that same face. And Roy hates it!
Brad: It wouldn't have helped.
Cindy lou: Is it? damn, if I only I remembered taking it off you ;)
