Greetings from Melbourne
Hello from the not so sunny city of Melbourne. Well, it wasn't too sunny yesterday anyway, today was quite nice.
Hmm, so far....
I caught the redeye from perth, and arrived here at 5am, having not slept on the plane I was a little tired. Couldn't leave my bags at the hotel till 7:30am so I just sat on a bench at the airport and read a book before making my way to the hotel about 7. I had about 5 hours to kill until I could check in to my room, so I went wandering.
My first taste of melbourne culture was a rather attractive cappucino :) I had breakfast with it also.
Walking towards the city I found the weather wasn't too fantastic, rain being great walking weather, i found shelter in a park and read for a while.
I wandered aimlessly through the city for a while, trying unsuccessfully to source a vinyl copy of the downward spiral (NIN album) to get signed when I meet the tomorrow. I walked around for hours, but didn't buy anything. I checked into my room and tried to have a nanna nap as I was well and truly tired from having not slept since the previus morning. I'd been in bed for about 10 minutes when I got a phone call from my boss regarding last weeks trip away....he needed some info. Half an hour later I hung up the phone and tried to sleep again. I wasn't succeeding....just as well, as about an hour after the first call, I received another call....from my boss of all people. 20 inutes later I figured there was no point trying to sleep, and decided to walk back into and around town. The weather was a bit better....
I probably shouldn't have done so much walking, but walking is such a good way to take in the city....don't see much from a tram. Sure do have sure legs and feet though :(
I went out and met my cousin who's just moved here for dinner. I could have caught the tram, but decided to walk, half an hour that didn't help my legs and feet, but did allow me to see more stuff I wouldn't otherwise see. Here's me walking down the street...it was kind of cold :)
Dinner was good, we went to a place which had $4 pizzas. They were really good, as were the beers we had with our pizza :)
Today I had a much needed sleep in, and did a little shopping in the afternoon. I bought a pair jeans and some shoes, here they are on the bed in my room. Don't you just love the bedspread?
Tonight I'm having dinner and some drinks with a mate that lives over here and so I must go. Tomorrow is the big NIN day...sweeet, can't wait.

helen: I got with teeth on vinyl and perth, but i really want to get the downward spiral to get signed. Theoretically if I have both I can get them both signed, as there willl be 2 of us going :)
Kimberly: I'm sure I will have fun :) The bedspread is gay, but it's not like I get to choose it so what can ya do :) Amusingly I've had the same bedspread at at least one mine I've stayed at, must be standard issue hotel linen. I'm sure I could have a much more attractive bedspread if I paid about twice as much for a room in a different establishment :D
hehehe, clearly i should have added *sarcasm* to the end of the "don't you just love the bedspread" comment :D
i SO wouldve said GAY!! valdi,we have those sheets here at jundee.seriously.

Luckyyyyy.

Geezer: thanks bro, your approval means everything to me :)
Brad: I don't need punctuation, you need interpretation :D
Kimberly: jj always says gay... i think he's a homo-chode.
Cece: Totally ;D
Helen: I went with my cousins Nicko and dorian, as it turns out I spent the evening with my new friends claire and greg, as the others came later, and were in a different section. As it also turns out my other cousing kristinn, julian from nicko's band and a girl called tamara were also there.
too bad about the vinyl.. that would have been AWESOME!
bedspread is "fab" *wink.. it's good to know that they are just as tacky there as they are here. it's a global conspiracy. unless you pay to stay at the freakin' westin.. then you get the white down comforter...
nice jeans... beautiful coffee..
like the nose too.
big noses.. drooool..
dude! what did trents willy taste like????
hey SARAH,valdi's nose is big.its just in proportion with his 15ft frame.
although his penis is strangely miniscule.
i meant 'valdis nose is NOT big'.
that is all.
sorry peeps, been busy as, will blog later today, I have to go help chop down a tree now.
AAAARGH! SPAMMERS!
So how did it go?!? Hurryhurryhurry!
god dammit, I've had to delete like 6 fucking spam comments today... fuck this, i'm gonna go postal on some people if I find them,
I read a lot of Australian blogs and I have to say that I'm really beginning to like you guys.
I read a lot of Australian blogs and I have to say they remind me of Australian bogs. Just kidding.
Or am I?
Christopher...hello and welcome. We're very likable people, many australians are, many other australians are imbeciles though.
Unsane: yo man, hows it hanging, or flapping, or whatever? :D
hmmm, I get an email everytime someone comments, and there wasn't one from you for a while so it must have got lost in the mail.
I think the devil may well have taken your comment and spawned 8 spam comments from it.
