I'm going to be a good boy and start posting pictures and the like on my blog.... eventually. I will even do the link thing, just not right now, as I should (even though I'm not) be working.

I am however at home "working", and as I am at home I have taken the opportunity to listen to Nine Inch Nails' 'Downward Spiral deluxe edition'. It truly is deluxe. I swapped dvd players with my Dad to be able to properly enjoy this CD. It's a super audio CD (SACD), so it's very high quality, and it's mixed in 5.1 channel surround sound. NIN sounds awesome in stereo, especially when cranked up nice and loud, but NIN in high quality 5.1 is just fucking awesome. Trent Reznor is my hero... he should help his friends Tool to remix their albums to 5.1, though I'm not sure 5.1 would suit Tool's sound like it does NIN. It's moments like these I'm REALLY glad that I spent so much money on my "home theatre", although I'm yet to update my TV, which is still the relatively cheap 68cm I bought some 5 to 7 years ago :)

So what do I have to enjoy my 5.1 NIN on? well....
-Marantz DV4300 DVD player, currently on exchange to my dad so I can use his Pioneer that plays everything.
-Marantz SR7300 6.1 channel receiver (receiver = amp + tuner in one)
-Klipsch SF-2 fronts, SC-1 centre, SS-1 rears and SW-12 (12 inch) sub woofer.

I love it, and stand by my decision to update my sound system before my TV :) Sound, rather than vision, in my opinion, is the key to an immersive experience :)

hmmm, the SACD is almost finished... iit'll be back to work then I guess :D
