Flu, if we never got it, it might one day kill us.

I'm not as slack a poster as it seems, but the last post I made didn't post and the recovery thing didn't work....as jj would say... gay!

Kalgoorlie was okay, kinda boring, didn't do much, just worked and sat around my motel room, which was pretty decent, but the tv had no remote, and I was rather dissapointed when I realised it was tuesday, and I'd missed mythbusters, which is about the only show I watch.

I've developed a cold/flu which is unfortunate, but i bought some drugs to make me feel better.... paracetamol, pseudoephedrine and codeine, what more can a person want in a pill? They seem to have worn off so I have a runny nose again... sigh.

Despite my sickness and general feeling of non wellbeing, I am going to hockey training tonight. I started playing ice hockey again last week, and the first game actually went alright... we even won :) I played better than i expected, but i was checking people pretty softly cause I wasn't used to it, but sorta got back into it by the end of the game, but still on the soft side. As a result of my good game, people suggested I should play super league, so i'll be training for two hours tonight :( Hope I can cope alright.

I went shopping today. As usual i bought a few bags of stuff but naff all of it was food. It's almost pathetic to look in my fridge, especially at the moment, as I'm low on beer :( Hmmm, friday tomorrow, yay, though I have little to do, sadly I may clean the house.

Sarah's coming round saturday, that'll be the highlight of my weekend, and the first time i'll see her this week. Hopefully i'll see her more than once over the next week, but as usual, this will be schedule dependent.
