Tragedy!
Egads, I've just found out through the grapevine that my uncle and auntie who live in Melbourne are moving back to Perth. This is great cause I really like them, but shit cause I was going to stay with them in Melbourne when I go to see NIN, but they're selling their house and will probably have done it before I get there in August. My plans, they're going to shit :( Oh well, I know at least one person I might be able to stay with, but I'm not sure if he'll be able to put me up. Otherwise It'll have to be a hotel, which won't be so bad, except for the expense.
Oh, and a funny thing happenned on the radio today (the radio used for communication between people on site, not the am/fm), One of the old boys, an inspector of rail formation, was asking the surveyor if she was able to:
"make it to the meeting tomorrow morning"
surveyor: "My understanding was the meeting was today at 8:30"
inspector: "No, it's at 8:30 on saturday",
surveyor: "today is saturday Merv",
inspector: "Yep righto, i'll see you at 8:30."
hahaha, I laughed, silly old bugger :) Of course I have trouble remembering what day it is so I shouldn't make fun, but still, it was pretty funny.

oh, and while I remember.. heard a rumour you would be visiting us next year.. I have booked amma to fly back on 31 jan from perth.. maybe you want to fly here with her?
Wow! Reynir and Maree are moving back to Perth? Cool! When are you going to Melbourne? Kristinn is moving there at some stage soon.
Geezer: I will never be pipped as favourite nephew... being the only nephew and all on that side of the family :)
Sigga: The rumour is true, I am hoping to come to Iceland but I was planning to go via the UK (my best mate lives there now) and was planning to leave just after Christmas. Might look in to leaving later though, Will keep it in mind. I could basically go with her to the UK, and then leave her to come to iceland on her own and come later, but yeah, we'll see. Is she flying Qantas? I should be a gold frequent flyer by then... maybe even platinum if i'm lucky but I doubt it. I will probably be able to stay with a guy I know in melbourne, but thanks for the offer, I'll keep in mind as a backup plan :)
Maja: what the hell is Kristinn going to do in Melbourne? I arrive in Melbourne Monday August 14th, and return saturday August 20th.
Same as he does in Perth. What do you think?
